To those who have some troubles with PDFLab on MacOSX
(application crashes after trying to import a file)
my Mac is on 10.5.8 , but this tip should work for many OS versions

open /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences.app

in General tab :
disable J2SE 5.0 Java SE 6 and J2SE 5.0
enable J2SE 1.4.2 32 bits

PDFLab should work

PS :
i did not try every combinaison of Java versions
i have just presumed that the oldest version should work fine
