Seriously, $14.99 for an app to do what the OS does for free? Grab is located in /Applications/Utilities. If you dont want to use Grab, use the key commands Command+Shift+3 for whole screen, Command+Shift+4 for a crosshair to select anything and finally Command+Shift+4 then Spacebar and you get a camera to take a snap of whatever it's placed over. Window, Dock, Menubar...
It produces a file with date/time and png, jpg....whatever you set it to be. If you cant get you want from those options then by all means, pay the $14.99...
LOVE the software...however, I have to delete the previous version before being able to copy into the Applications folder. It will not overwrite. I am the Admin of my machine and am not prompted for a PW. Firefox had this issue for a LONG time until they changed the rights to the application...after YEARS of complaints.
I wish they'd figure out the rights they apply to the application. Firefox finally did. You have to delete Chrome from the Apps folder BEFORE trying to copy he new version. I'm admin of my machine and it's just idiotic to require that when almost EVERYBODY else in the known universe has it figured out. IDIOTS
