Note: Users who are starting with version 1.97 may be experiencing an error message upon adding an album using a Release ID. This error is "The variable releaseCondition is not defined." I have just been informed of this by a user and released an update (1.971). I didn't want to overload MacUpdate, so if you need that version it can be found from the updater within MyVinyl or by clicking "Visit Developer's Site" above.

If you started with a version before 1.97 then this may not even be an issue for you so you can probably ignore this update.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this app hasn't seen the front page (sans the 5 minutes today), since version 1.85. This was released on the 2nd of September.

I fully understand you don't want people spamming and am in concurrence with you about not front-paging it every time.

But it has been a week.

If you are trying to view an archive and it looks empty but you know there is something in there, toggle the "use unRAR for split archives" box.

This will probably be the next thing I fix...

I just got some massive sunburn on a camping trip so I can't really do anything productive. I can't even sleep pain-free. But I guess it'll heal soon. When it does I can refill my ADD prescription and pump out the next release!

I'm currently in music theory.
We just were told to go to musictheory.net in class but this is the whole enchilada!
Wish I had found this earlier though because the final exam is tomorrow :(

It's jammed-packed with exercises but this is also kind of a flaw. The interface is really cluttered and overwhelming - but it's a minor gripe.

My web site is crashing many times throughout the day lately so I have decided to switch hosting providers. It will take at least 7 days apparently, to transfer to the new host.

In the mean time use version 1.641. Until it has been added to MacUpdate I will host it on a site which will expire in 2 days, since I cannot upload it to my own.

If you had the inDesign document of something i'm 95% you could just accomplish this task in inDesign. $475 is outrageous!

inDesign itself doesn't even cost that much!!

Why does "it's no longer free" deserve frowney faces?

I had been using the program for a while and got the new version WHICH WAS STILL LISTED AS FREE, and it wasn't. I wanted people to know. I didn't insult or demean this program at all!

Know what? from now on, I just won't care about telling people that a version has switched from $0 to $20. Figure it out yourselves you ungrateful users.

Transmission

The auto-updater has been failing the past two updates I've tried. It tells me about the new version, I download it, then it reports an error trying to unarchive it. All I can do is click cancel. I can't even open the archive myself because I don't know where it is.

But aside from having to come to mac update or the transmission homepage to get the new version, it's been great!!

I'm trying to record my keynote because the built-in recording feature doesn't record my transitions but this uses 150% CPU according to activity monitor, and that's on Intermediate Codec (supposedly the least CPU intensive). I've tried everything else on the list and they all run at over 100% so my keynote lags. I'm using an intel imac (1.83 ghz) btw.
