I used MSMoney for 18yrs but since they no longer offer support, needed an alternative. After spending several weeks trying out other Mac finance programs, I jumped in and purchased Moneydance because the longer I used it, the more it stood out. This program is good if you are more of a full-featured user, or someone who wants to track more details (investments, etc). I originally hoped to go w/a simple, envelope-style program (Mvelopes, etc), but found that they just could not do what I needed. While the program is not perfect (none are), I have found the developers to be quite responsive, and the forums full of info. It also appears that the product is constantly improved based on user suggestions. So basically, I feel like Moneydance is only going to get better. And, I know that Intuit and other large companies are not going to be responding to my emails as quickly as the folks at Moneydance (if at all) to make things work. Overall, a very solid product that I would recommend.
