I don't know if anyone has checked but the price, but it has gone up from the announced $10 to $16. What gives? Looks like the developer raised the price and did not notify MacUpdate. Was considering the software for $10. However, for $16, forget it.
The staff that updated iVolume should be applauded for responding so quickly to the volume adjustment problem that was created by iTunes 9. Using the new updated version of iVolume I was able to go into my iTunes, selected all the songs that iVolume was unable to previously adjust (due Tag issues) and it adjusted everyone of them, quickly and without a single error. Congratulations for work well done. Everyone needs to recognize mani.de efforts.
This software is useful when it works but it breaks for every new version of Safari which means each time you have to wait for an update and then when you find one you have to reinstall. Takes too much attention and time. It is just not worth it. I give up.
A wonderful tool for organizing and gathering information. I have been using it for over a year and it is really proven its worth. For the money it is a great deal. There is nothing out there that comes close to this tool. In addition to a find piece of software, the developer is very responsive and pays attention to comments and issues.
Over the past several months I have purchased 2 copies of iWOW as part of the Promo deals. Two weeks ago I bought a new laptop and tried to install one of the plugin's I installed on my existing laptop on my new laptop. The authorization process said that the plugin was already installed on another machine and would not let me install it on my new machine. I emailed the company about the issue (no way to move licensed software to a new platform) and the email bounced (no long a viable address). I called, no one answered, I left a message, no one called back. Not sure what kind of customer support they have, but it does not work. I would caution anyone who is considering buying this plugin to make sure that it can be reinstalled or moved to a different platform before you buy it. Otherwise, at some point in the future your copy will not be any good and the only alternative will be to buy a new copy. Something I will not do.
Running PPC G5 10.4.10. Installed application and as it was gathering information about music in the iTunes library (getting song details). When it was about 50% done it stopped and started giving me applescript errors:
Can't make of id 77817 of id 64481 of id 42 of application "iTunes" into type string. (-1700)
NSContainerSpecifierError (2)
Application definitely does not work. Needed to force quit. Not sure what is wrong. One observation is that the script error occurred, each time I tired it, on the same song.
I agree, something is wrong with Microsoft Software Update again. The installer says that my 2008 version 12.1.0 and needs the update. When I continue I get the following dialog box: "You cannot install Office 2008 12.1.1 update on this volume. A version of the software required to install this update was not found on the volume. Once again Microsoft has succeeded in providing a service that does not work. Hope this update will be fixed shortly.
