I purchased this a while back and have been happy with it. Initially I thought the price was pricey as it converted to around $CAD30 - but the author has provided updates over the past couple years very often and the application does save me some time.

I use it mainly to add the CoverArt embedded to my mp3 files and to rename my mp3 files based on what my tags have in them.

Yes, it does not look the best front end (Especially on the Mac) when you are used to rich looking applications, but it seems to do its job well.
