iFFmpeg

"Added FFmpeg option ’slices". (only available with the latest FFmpeg binaries)"

Where can I get a compiled "latest FFmpeg binary"? It seems conter-intuitive to offer a GUI for ffmpeg and at the same time having users to compile a binary if they want to use the latest features. The binaries available at http://go.to/osxffmpegcompiling were compiled in January...

Works perfectly on my MacBook Pro (OS 10.6.5) with a Sony HDTV, Sony Blu-ray player and Oppo Blu-ray player.

iFFmpeg

If the developer is now asking money for this (and limiting the test period to 5 tries), he should at least provide links to compiled binaries (32 bit, 64 bit, multi-threaded) of ffmpeg.

If people download iFFmpeg directly from Macupdate and similar (like I did), they won't have those links, will they? The links should be provided in the downloaded docs.

The option of creating a virtual *DVD* would be a great addition.

TwistedWave

The developer is very responsive to questions and requests.

So far, this would be the only sound editor (I'm not saying DAW) that supports both multichannel plug-ins and multichannel monitoring. Try this with the usual suspects...

Although at version 1.1, this app is very promising. For me needs (which are very "niche" I'll admit), it's bye bye to all the other sound editor and hello to TwistedWave.
