I love the concept. This IMO could easily replace iTunes (or supplement, since we all still need iP(od|hone) syncing.
A few things I wish I could change:
-The interface is too big for a audio player. (needs something like itunes compact mode)
-Get rid of "Tickets" item. I'm sure this is an attempt to make some money off the app, but it's really tacky where it's placed in the UI.
You can tell by the screenshot it's a simple character to character transform. It could probably be broken by paper in a few mins, but I guess that could be part of the fun...
The webserver running is lighttpd *running as daemon*, and using transmission to download via PHP ~> IPC ~> transmission-daemon bridge. Clutch is just a cocoa frontend for the components that makes it simple for end-users to control it.
