Thanks, Turly. Version 2.1.2 is definitely more stable. I still noticed a sidebar related Finder crash (opening Favorires from the sidebar), but it is not very reproducible. It seems to happen only the first(?) time I access something in the sidebar. Anyway, looks very good now!
BTW, folks, the actual author (Logan Rockmore) also responded and thanked us for the work-around info. Also, I just received a courteous reply from Mesa Dynamics support and they thanked us also and said they should be easily able to release an update to Amnesty Singles to permanently address this issue. Many thanks to all who were so courteous with their support. Now, off to bed!!
Sir, you are a scholar and a gentleman! Your terminal command line magic did indeed work (on both MLB Schedule and MLB Standings). For interested others note that I did have to slightly modify the command line to include quote characters around the widgets name (i.e. "MLB Schedule") for the command to work. (I am probably using a different shell or something from the author). After your terminal AppleClasses embedding magic I just built it again with Amnesty Singles and all is great. Baseball fans rejoice! (See the author's replies to my original questions).
Thank you so much for your courteous and quick support information!!
Great utility, I used it a lot under Tiger. However, it is still a quite a bit unstable under 10.5.2. I have a vanilla Intel mac-mini and I noticed various sidebar-related Finder crashes and a Netscape Navigator (9.0.0.6) crash with FinderPop 2.1. I do plan on using this utility again when it stabilizes!
This is a nice app but I just noticed a nasty glitch in 1.0.3 on an Intel Mac Mini under 10.5. Resizing any document display window results in strange freeze/crash 100% of the time.
Nice widgets. But does anyone (developer?) know why they don't work with Amnesty Singles as standalone apps. (The info button is invisible so there is no way to change the team selection, etc.). Thanks in advance.

Hi Logan. Glad we could help! Sorry about my "developer confusion". Great baseball widgets. BTW, I have reported this and am having a discussion with Amnesty Singles support.
