Bookends is so good that I actually switched to it from EndNote even though I was in the middle of a huge project.

I was able to complete the switch in less than two hours, including converting my existing reference database and creating the citation style I needed. (It would be nice if I could have found a way to import my existing custom citation styles, or if I could locate an online repository of them.)
