There are however a few things that could be improved:
1- Add for Right-Click in the Directory. My reflex is to right-click on the radio I want, instead of aiming and clicking on the tiny down-arrow symbol for the local menu.
2- "Import as favorite", "Import Station"… The wording is confusing, it should be "Set as Favorite" and "Add a Station". "Import" is an unnecessarily technical term for regular users. Why "import"? Especially for the Favorites, you are not importing anything, the station is already there in the Directory.
Feature request: I would LOVE to pause and rewind the current station at any time, without the advanced planning required to record it.
The need for this is obvious: Sometimes, I missed something and I want to hear it again, like the music title that was announced before when I was not paying attention..
Or… I like that music that is already playing, but I missed the beginning and I want to record it all. So recording should be possible from the real-time buffer.
Just trying to offset the rating appearing in my previous review, where I intended to rate Radioshift very low and NOT 3 stars! Let's see if it works this time...
Radioshift User Interface is just so bad, not worthy to be called a Mac App, it's clicking hell! (read another comment to explain the details, I am not going to go through that).
I recently found another Radio app, SNOWTAPE, which is a pleasure to use in comparison to Radioshift, and full of functionality as well!
Jazzyguy, oh yes, you can search for Jazz and you get results for sure! I just tried again... 40 pages of results, only 10 shown at once in each page! And I need to click through all pages one by one.
You are not understanding the complaint, it's about the UI! Like... this silly paginated presentation of results, a native app that wants to look like a web page. And the window content that does not resize with the window, (why do I have a big screen?). And the absence of Right-clicking to make a station a favorite from the search results (need to access the station details first, then back-out of it for the next station). And the space bar that does not pause the audio like ALL other audio app I have come across (like iTunes), etc… etc…

I intended my review to have an overall rating of only 1/2 star, but something went wrong with Macupdate web site (a bug?), my review turned out 3 stars. Radioshift is not worth 3 stars in my view!

A clicking hell, as I said!
