DON'T BUY IT! It isn't possible to add scores after January 1, 2011. I"ve tried to contact the author and his company via two email's and they have remained unanswered. It looks like he has lost interest in keeping the program updated. All this after I paid for the app. Looks like Spoon Software just took the money and ran.
A must have for any mac user and now any windows and smart phone user! I have used 1Password for 3 years now and find it the most useful program I have. Besides automatically logging onto secure web sites it also stores other secure information. For example, it has a section for storing software licenses. Now I no longer will loose my license keys and since I sync to all my other computers it is backed up and I will be able to reinstall my programs if I have a disk failure.
The program works flawlessly with Dropbox for syncing. I sync between iMac, MacBook Pro, iPod Touch, Windows and Android. Because of this flexibility the program is worth it at any price. Now I don't have to run upstairs from my windows machine in the basement
to check a password on the main iMac computer.
Another great feature is 1Password Anywhere. When using a friends or public computer you can access a secure web page online and retrieve any of your stored information.
What really sets this program apart from all the others is the level of Customer Service and support. Emails are answered very fast, sometimes within the same day. So is response on the forums. The windows an android versions are in beta testing and reported bugs are resolved in a few days.
As for Customer Service, while participating in the beta test I discovered I overpaid when I upgraded to version 3 about a year ago. I sent an email on a Sunday and later that SAME DAY I received a response with a credit to my account. In my response back I stated:
"There are many company's but what distinguishes the best from the worst is their level of customer service, fairness and honesty. My experience is that they take on the personality of the owners and managers. Agile certainly ranks at the top of the list. Congratulations!"
That says it all,
