I think this could be useful with kids..."No internet till homework is done!" Maybe it needs to go up to 8 or 9 hours so parents can say "No internet while I'm gone," since it's nice to be able to supervise internet use.

Thanks to the developer for this enjoyable little ap. Teachers will like it because you can create your own puzzles at whatever level(s) you choose, and can even opt to have an answer sheet.

If you are English-speaking, you will want to go under the options menu (on the ap itself, not on your computer's regular menu bar) then under Select Language, choose English. (It is also available in German.) This will assure that help menus come up in your preferred language.

The menu bar is rather old fashioned looking, but that does not affect play.

There is a nice feature for those of us who like the print larger--just enlarge the frame and all the print gets proportionally larger.

The candidates (possible solutions) button is a nice touch. I wish it were an option for printing as well.

Overall a very nice ap.

I really enjoy the game. Not sure why the high scores don't stick.

FunTrash

In the olden days...there was a similar program. Every time you put something in the trash, Oscar the Grouch popped out and sang "I love trash." There were only two problems: Kids liked seeing the animation so much that they were basically throwing away their parents' whole hard drive! And Sesame St. of course didn't like it that they were stealing Oscar and made them stop. Oh well.

This is a nice little logic game similar to the board game mastermind.
Pros:
It has colorful graphics that would appeal to children.

It took me a while to figure out how to get it into English. Click on the British flag.

This game desperately needs an undo. Better yet, let the player shift the images around until satisfied, then click on a button to have the moves judged. Otherwise you almost need a pencil and paper to play it.

If you like mastermind, you'll probably enjoy this game.
