This SilverFast version is for high-end Heidelberg scanners only. There are very expensive drum scanners delivering the best scanning quality possible.

Im using such a scanner with SilverFast at work, a German publisher house. There is no alternative. These drum scanners are a little bit out of date - nevertheless the quality is superior to any actual scanner - but wit SilverFast you can operate them on up-to-date Windows and Mac systems.
An archiving solution / color management is included. Plus there is premium support for a few years.

If you're still runnind a Heidelberg drum scanner, SilverFast is a must.
