I have been using notebook for several years and it does have many strengths.
It is frustrating because this is a good program that with a little focus from the developers could be a great or "must have" program.
The developers do come out with regular updates but they never seem to fix the issues with the user interaction.
examples:
the program does not play well with spaces and never has. AFAIK the devs have chosen not to address this problem
the program does not save your changes automatically, instead you have to go into preferences and make trade off choices on how the program will auto save.
In spite of the regular updates the program has annoying bugs which persist from release to release.
Don't get me wrong, i do use this program everyday but this is a program with an outdated UI and in consideration of what it could be that annoys me.
I am not actively looking for a replacement but I am looking out of the corner of my eye for one..
