Secure Empty Trash does overwrite files in the trash 7 times, using the DOD-method, not 30 times using the Gutmann-method.

Great release, it now even doesn't need to be installed before you install another app. It looks which files are being changed/created by what app in the background, that's quite different from other AppZapper-like-uninstallers, which most of the time are Spotlight with another UI. Ofcourse it needs more CPU than

In my case the CPU-problems are completely solved.

I've been using this program for several years now, without any problems. It's a secure program and very easy to use. The developer is also very responsive and has quite some experience with security.

I don't understand the post below. These updates had nothing to do with security. Don't write a review after testing an app for a few minutes, just place a comment.
