Adobe is fast with an update that works with the new Nikon D7000, which is why I choose Lightroom before Apples Aperture. I don't know why Apple lacks behind with their updates, but it sure makes Aperture a bad contender. I used to love Aperture, but Apple has proven time after time that they don't believe in this product - consider their slow update schedules. And for professionals photogs that's not gone do it for them.
I bought my Nikon 4000 film scanner back in the days when Nikons software supported OS 9. Nikon decided to support OSX, but the software was a pain in the neck and crashed a lot. VueScan has always been there and has worked flawlessly. I thank the developer for creating and supporting scanners which are working perfectly - there is nothing wrong with the Nikon scanner hardware!
I recommend this software to anyone which has a scanner that are still working, but which the manufacture has some how dropped there support.
"Great - an update to Plex Nine" I thought! Now maybe they have fixed the video stuttering. But sadly it is still there! Well back to version 8 again as the stuttering makes it impossible to watch a movie on version 9. And Plex is running on the latest version of the Mac Mini and are playing my moives perfectly on version 8.
With Plex 9 all my .img and .iso files doesn't play smoothly anymore. They worked just fine in the previous version of Plex and also when I mount them and play them through the DVD Player application. Damn annoying not to be able to watch my movies though Plex anymore. I'm running Plex on a Mac Mini 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 memory running OSX 10.6.4 - so it can't be the hardware which are causing the non-smooth playback.
1. It doesn't show any preview of the Microsoft Entourage window.
2. It would be nice if I could set it to run down vertically instead of horizontally on my display.
3. It doesn't support 2 displays when hiding. Instead of hiding it floats on to the second display.
4. Transparency settings would be nice.
Otherwise it's an app with great potentials and I bought just it to encouraged the developer to move up to the next level. 10 dollares isn't that much anyway!
Great software and it's free. I would give this 5 star if I could change the clock to 24 hour up in the menu in the Date & TIme module, instead of AM/PM. This seems only possible for the World Clock Display, which is kind of a bummer!
