I've been using MyThoughts for a while now, and the latest version has added to the pleasure of use, I am making good use of collapsible branches. There was one thing, I'd like to be able to add text that is not joined to any thought, I emailed the developer and he has promised he'll have something in the next release that should suit my needs. I am so chuffed that I got a quick and very positive response, thank you.
I love Pixelmator. For years I have wanted to do more with my photo's, a week after owning this app I was creating great results. I really like the tutorial vids.
I first downloaded MyThoughts when it was in it's beta phase, and I loved it. I went ahead and bought it whilst it was still at beta. Now the update is out I feel like I hit jackpot with my decision.
I am really enjoying the fact that it is so easy to use. I also like that I can get arty with the branches and make them curve around images etc.
The fact that you can drag images of your own to the mind map (I love having my own chosen images as my centre thought) makes for a more creative approach.
My main use is for my university course work and I am looking forward to getting more from it in this, my final year.
The big plus has got to be the price, it is a really great bit of mind mapping software!
Oh, in an earlier post the person said about being able to drag map around in window. You can move it about, it's a check box in the inspector box, then click and drag map.
