I was once foolish and purchased all 3 iTunes visualizers from SoundSpectrum, Inc. but after finding out later the fees I paid were only for 1 year and they wanted me to cough up more money for bug fixes in future updates. No chance, no how!
Greed will be the ultimate demise for this very ungrateful company!
Paying customers should be having to pay for bug fixes and 1 year fees for eye-candy is not a good business model.
I don't care what SoundSpectrum, Inc. uses as their excuse for gauging customers with yearly fees for their own sloppy programming. It's not worth it.
Save your money people there's far better ways to spend it than give it to crooks.
That is great news. I don't mean to sound rude, but I just hate being a guinea pig when it comes to software. I like to try stable releases and be able to give it an honest try instead of taking chances of bugs causing serious problems.
Thanks for the speedy reply, look forward to the final release of 1.1 and Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukah !
I agree with the reviewer below. Be very wary of this software. It wants to install Nalpeiron into my Startup Items folder.
No way , no how, no chance in hell.
Previously I've had other software install this similar protection garbage into my system and caused me untold grief until I finally removed it.
I would suggest running as fast as you can away from any software like this that installs unknowns into your OS. Who knows what kind of problems it will create or if it's some kind of trojan / virus.
When I clicked the more information link about this software Bling It wanted to install, it directed my browser to a page at http://www.vertustech.com/blingit/redirect/mac-installing-en , which comes back as 404 page not found.
Without "Motion Sense" options, I have no use for this either. Timed screenshots might be handy for some people but the vast majority of us would prefer only taking snapshots if there is actual movement for security reasons.
Please consider adding that feature or add a vote above for it.
I don't understand what there was to like about this game. Tried it for about 10 minutes and found it far too boring and repitious. For free I could see some kids or teens enjoying this for a day or two.
I neither have a good review nor a bad review for another maintenance tool in an already saturated market of similar tools.
I didn't see anything special when I used Socks, it has a few unique functions but lacks some of the functions found in similar tools. For instance Socks has no manual way to remove system or user logs unless you do a cron job.
Try it and if you don't like it there's lots of alternatives!

Latest stable download is still 1.0.8 and these 1.1 betas have been going on for almost 6 months.
When can we finally expect to see a 1.1 stable release to properly evaluate this? I refuse to waste my time with beta releases.

QuickBoot
But I think I'll stick to holding down the OPTION key and just pick which drive I want to start with during a boot up.
ZippyRippy
I already own Ripit, MacTheRipper and Mac DVDRipper Pro which all work great especially RipIt that fetches the DVD's name from the online service.

iFlicks
MacUpdate has 2 different programs with the software named iFlicks, the other one is listed here - http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/29745/iflicks
This is going to be a legal issue for the two developer's to hash and a mess for MacUpdate users considering both are at version 1.2 !
