Snowtape

I like SnowTape 2 a lot, but since upgrading I can no longer connect with SnowRemote from my iPhone 2G nor iPhone 4. I have mailed customer support 3 days ago, but no reaction so far. Is anybody experiencing the same? The pairing seems to work, but then the remote host remains greyed-out and nothing happens even after minutes of waiting.

SnowRemote is no longer listed as product on the Vemedio website, the description for SnowTape 2 only mentions the use of the (infrared) Apple Remote, and the support form does not list the latest build of SnowRemote. However, the functionality is still there. Strange.

Update: I received a message from support:

"with the release of Snowtape 2 we have removed SnowRemote from the App Store. We
are currently working on an update that will support new features of Snowtape 2.
This update will be free for everybody. Please stay tuned. We will inform you via
newsletter when this update is available."

Vemedio was looking for Beta Testers on Twitter for SnowRemote last weekend. So I guess the update will be released soon.
