Started off as a promising piece of software. It was meant to combine simplicity, speed and customisation. Simple? Yes. Fast? Not top of the class. Customisation? Limited options with buggy results. Could be amazing though.
Just don't compare it to Photoshop, and you'll realize this an amazing program that does what it says and much more for an excellent value!! It's improved a lot since it first launched
Despite what some people may say, it's fast, reliable and highly customisable. It also brings some very interesting and time saving new features, including some flashy annoying ones - which you can "turn off" -.
Overall, it feels as if Lion is a step forward into the future of operating systems; not a giant one, but forward in any case.
It's probably the most solid & simple screenwriting-only software. But it's also extremely overpriced for what it does. Final draft should learn a thing or two about other programs such as Scrivener (not just for screenwriters), specially in terms of organising the creative process any writer as to go through. Update policies & pricing should be revised as - again - it's expensive and does not offer enough new features to justify the price from one version to the next. Still, my favourite screen writing program - loyalty and lazy I guess...

Does what it says; and it does it like a charm.
