You know, the last time I checked version 1.1.1 works just fine with a PPC. Why upgrade? The app costs $49 then they come out with an update by the way I never even knew they had updated it from 1.1.1 but now it's at 1.5.2? and they want $25 for it and they even say it is a minor update. Whos stealing here? Software companys don't want us to pirite their software but when they hit you up over and over again for no good reason, oh...greed I guess it is called...well, in that case I won't be doing it but I don't blame them that do. Take care of your customers not your selves. I for one will continue to make due with version 1.1.1. I guess Im just tired of everyone sucking me dry everytime I scratch my nose.
I just wanted to point out that this widget has failed to locate the lowest gas prices in my area, even if I go to the farthest amount of miles that Is allowed in the search it still dose not find the lowest gas prices and I wonder if the developer has something going on with certain gas companies and then only shows them. Yesterday I used the gas widget for regular gas price search in my area, 14613. It started out at 2.37 a gal and went up from there no matter how far I increased the search distance. I did not believe it because in my area is a mini gas-store chain that is known for being vary completive. I drove out there which is about 5 miles one way and I found the price per gal was 2.28 and now I see that I should not rely on the gas widget. I would hope you keep this in mind when you use this app too.
Ok, something funny was going on, I was able to get the file ok after rebooting and retrying. Thanks everyone for your input, that let me know it was on my end :)
