This latest version of GIMP looks great! It is the most "aqua-like" version of GIMP so far. I've used GIMP under X11 since version 1.2.1 and can not get over the fact that it's a FREE application that supports "layering" like Photoshop. Also, this version of GIMP renders faster than previous versions, particularly when it comes to using the Artistic>GIMPressionist filters. Finally, there is no longer a need for a 2 button mouse, as there is now a full menu bar displayed at the top of each image file window.
For those experiencing problems with placing the gimp.app in other folders beside the Applications folder, please check out the README.txt file. My gimp.app is located in Applications>Graphics; it took a while for it to load the first time I launched it, but that was because it was "caching my fonts". (iMac G4 800MHz, 768MB RAM, 10.3.3)
I've downloaded Aquafier several times now only to receive version 1.1 each time. As a result, there is no uninstaller.
While I thank you for the freeware, I don't like the all white "aqua" look. I want to revert back to the brushed metal. [Without doing a reinstall of Safari if possible;-)]
