Slink is the one and only application that I actually long for since I moved to an iPad from my MacBook. It almost makes me wish I had the laptop again. It is that good.

I am buying Slink today, if only for the developers response to my issues. Even if I get BTMM working again, due to a wireless ISP limitation, I am grateful for Olof's help. Slink has many features that BTMM doesn't offer and isn't a copy of ShareTool, although they have some of the same features. Not only was I guided through the setup and installation in real time, Olof contacted the ISP in Minneapolis independently and questioned their techs on what was needed to get Slink working for me. Great service.
I have tried lots of clipboard managers, but ClipMenu (free) is the one I stick with. It can't sync automatically, but if I need to I can export from one computer and import into the other very easily.
The keyboard works fine, but the Bluetooth menu icon says the battery is at 100% and I've had the iMac for 5 weeks. I don't know how much power is left in the batteries. Also, when I click Set up Bluetooth device it searches endlessly for a keyboard stating 'No keyboard found'. This has been documented on many Mac forums and I was hoping this might be a fix.
I ran the update hoping that the '100% battery' bug would disappear. No luck; Bluetooth still says 100% and keeps searching, saying "no keyboard found, please check to see if turned on or batteries inserted". Meanwhile, the keyboard is working. ????
I have a new iMac with a keyboard that shows 100% battery after 3 weeks of use and states that 'No keyboard found' when I click setup Bluetooth keyboard. System Profiler shows that I indeed don't have the update (68 instead of 69), but when I try to run the installer it rejects it saying Bluetooth device can't be found. The Keyboard System Preferences just keeps searching away with a spinning daisy.
