PasswordWallet

Harold Roeth, reviewed on 09 Apr 2009
I noticed there is only one recent review of this excellent program so wanted to add my highly favorable comments for this useful and easy-to-use program. I especially like the ability to just click on an icon and have the program open the desired log-in web page and also give you a button to click on which then automatically fills in the user ID and password. I highly recommend this program.

Nice addition to iTunes. Got this as part of the MacUpdate Bundle and was sleptical til I tried it. Made my small speakers sound much better. Iy also solved a minor problem in which iTunes was “hiding” the vocals on many tracks, i.e. the music overpowered the vocalist. This is no longer a problem for some reason. I am happy.

I just noticed that there has not been any recent comment on this fine program. I use it with OS 10.4.5 to regularly back-up certain important files. I also use the timer option with FS running in the background to backup important publications I am working on every 5 minutes, LotÕs of uses for this program as their web site indicates. Never any problems. (v3.5)

On a G-4 with 10.45, I cannot get thi to log in. The on-line help and forums etc. are really not that much help. Apparently it is a firewall problem at my end but I canÕt seem to find any advice on how to set this up. I use Skype. It ran right out of the box with no problems so I will continue with Skype for now.

Remember?

Been using this since OS 7.5. Yes, the interface is "old-fashioned" but I have never had any problems and it's like an old friend. Setting preferences is a bit of a pain but once set you foget about them. Running it now on 10.3.2.
