I've been using LittleSnitch since 2004 and it's the first thing I install after purchasing a computer. The developer has always been helpful and responsive.
HoudahGeo just works. I used it every day for 3 weeks as I processed vacation photos. Import the photos, import the GPS data from the logger and HoudahGeo takes it from there. If you're just getting started here's a huge tip, set your camera clock before you leave and don't change it while traveling.
Soulver has found a permanent place in my dock and I haven't quit the application since I purchased it. I grew up using multi-line calculators and loved being able to see and verify my work without having to rekey everything. The multi-line window was my main motivator for checking out the program but I'm finding more uses for it every day. Lately I've been planning vacation expenses across a few countries with different currencies and I am able to see line by line how much everything is costing in US dollars. Exchange rates are automatically imported and updated.
Great software backed by even better support. I purchased a WDTV Live the day it came out and bought Playback shortly after. I tried most of the other DLNA compliant UPnP media servers and found Playback to offer the best initial support for the WDTV Live. After my purchase I noticed a small problem with MP3 playback. Within a couple hours of emailing the developer I had received a beta build that fixed the problem. I've now been running Playback for 2 months and have been extremely happy with it.
