Version 5.8 is like Safari with every Safari add-in already in it. I prefer WebKit over Gecko, and OmniWeb offers that plus additional features such as site preferences and workspaces that further enhance browsing.
Oh, and I run 5.8 for hours and the RAM hovers just under 250mb.
Excellent app keeps getting better. i love the pointless comparisons to Photoshop -- this will never be Photoshop. But for the price, it gets a lot of things done you really need to do regularly. And it does it with style. It is also updated regularly, and bugs and gripes are actually fixed.
For a low-cost image editor, it's excellent. Much better than all the competition.
First of all, it's a bit misleading: this is NOT a "color picker" in the sense that it can be accessed from within applications.
It's an application itself. A slow-to-launch Java application and like most of those has a very un-mac-like UI.
IMO it doesn't really give you anything useful. You can get much more bang for your buck with a true color picker like Painter's Picker, or a standalone app like Art Directors Toolit
I see no way to apply the changes as a super-user.
I tried using this on a folder full of files and folders, and although it gave no error, the contents of the folder were NOT changed.
I went to Terminal and did sudo chmod -R and it worked. Note doing this without sudo gave me a bunch of errors in terminal -- so obviously one needed to be SU to change these files. And as I said, I don't see how to do this in BatChmod

Development has ceased. No new updates in a year or so. No news. Check out the forums on the web site, filled with irate users.
It doesn't matter what else you choose, but not this app.
Synergy
But it does work once it's launched, so there is at least a workaround.
I hope this bug is fixed, but it doesn't keep me from enjoying an otherwise excellent app.

Too bad it only does folders of images, I'd love to be able to drag a group of images (i.e. a subset of a folder) to the app for renaming/processing.
Further, I'd love to see the ability to sort images processed into subfolders by date or other criteria.
But these requests aside, a nice app and the price is right.

I don't even want to modify iTunes, I just want to install/uninstall UNO.
