Negritude, if it's creating images with a "watermark" then it's not really a functional app, it's just a demo.
So as Sleek says, it's not free.
The only truly functional app is the $19 version.
Dreadful customer service.
I bought this as part of a bundle less than a year ago.
I updated it to the latest version and it then insisted that my serial number was "widely distributed" (whatever that actually means) and now will not launch.
I've sent them three emails over the last two months pleading for them to tell me how get their app working again, and they have sent me no response, not even an acknowledgement that they've received my emails.
At this point I'd say don't waste your money. If it fails, you're SOL.
Might be "fun" to play with, but since its splashy introduction in the 1950s, subliminal messaging has been pretty much debunked. Championed now mainly by those who WANT to believe (or hope to make a few bucks off of it.)
"The near-consensus among research psychologists is that subliminal messages do not produce a powerful, enduring effect on behavior; and that laboratory research reveals little effect beyond a subtle, fleeting effect on thinking"
Take a look at the terms and conditions you'll be accepting for this app!
Specifically read section 3.4. It states that if the app infringes on any third party's intellectual property, YOU, not AT&T "will be responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any such claim."
I loved Chronos's Personal Organizer; used it for years, but...
Grudgingly upgraded to SOHO Organizer 6 as the Mac OS was gradually making Personal Organizer obsolete.
That upgrade was a nightmare. They'd reconfigured their product to run on top of Apple's iCal, which had all kinds of problems.
I updated to SOHO Organizer 7 very late, after its user reviews indicated that it had - after many update fixes - managed to correct many (but not all) of the version 6 issues.
Now they're selling version 8, and even though it was only released last month (November,) they're already up to update 11!
Clearly that November version "8.0" was really a "beta," and Chronos is using buyers as beta testers.
I'd check back later next year on version 8, when-and-if it's TRULY ready for public release.
