After struggling for days going back and forth to support, Etienne< to get 1.2.2 to install I was finally successful installing in my Admin account. Now there is a new version 1.2.3 and I, once again am struggling to install the new version.
I have had zero use of this program since I purchased it as part of the MacUpdate Spring Bundle. What a waste of time and money.
Just write an install that works! And quit telling me to repair permissions (doesn't work) and find a file named /etc/sudoers. I can't find it!!!!!
I would love to write a review if I could get the installation to complete on my second computer. The installation on my first computer went fine. I download and move the program to the applications folder and then, when I first start the program, it installs and then tells me the installation failed and to check to see if I have the latest version. I do.
I have uninstalled and deleted and tried to install several times with the same result.
I have sent the install log to the developer but haven't heard back yet. I have a new Mac Book Air 13" and there was a small update to 10.6.7 that may be the problem. I purchased this as part of the MacUpdate Spring Bundle. All other programs installed flawlessly.
I used MacDropAny and added two folders to Dropbox on my desktop Mac. I have waited 2 days for those folders to show up on my MacBookAir and they still haven't. After the first 24 hours I realized that one of the folders had too many files in it for my first "test" run and I removed it from Dropbox by simply deleting it.
So far I see no signs of syncing to my MBAir. I have no idea why. Any thoughts or ideas are welcome.
