Facts:
- 233 KB in size
- Using main OSX core utilities (nothing unique by them selves)
(easy to check by show package content)
So basically they needed the 233 KB for the interface and icons.
There are many other programs doing the same, providing an interface so it's easier for the user to execute some tasks. But those others CAN be trusted.
My advice: don't use mackeepr. Search around and you will find programs for less or even free that will do the same.
PS: if a company is not including the uninstaller with the download it's a sign for me that they have something to hide.
Or they need the visitors on their website to collect some banner income.... they run a major banner campaign on the internet. (how do they pay for that :-)
Some extra findings:
The most companies that have won an award are back linking to the award voting, result page. My guess is that MacKeeper just photoshoped or copied the awards.
Same for the BBB banner. (if my info is right YOU need to back link as prove)
Well, Automatic does the same and works on my PPC. Problem solved. While the latest version of TVShows does not Support PPC. My star rating minus 2 stars.

True automatic cost some money. But it works on PPC and TvShows not. Ok it's free but not working.
