Boom

As many others say here, Boom is a really good piece of software. But I post this comment to say that Global Design's support is also excellent!

Some days ago I had a problem reinstalling it, and, after trying to find a solution via several emails, they offered me assistance via iChat. Problem solved!

I'm not used to that level of customer service, and I just wanted to share it with you. They deserve it.

This version, as well as all nightlies after 2.33+(12671), crash on launch on my system. Prior nightlies work ok. What reports/logs can I send, and where? TIA

Unfortunately, 1.6 doesn't work well on Lion with an additional screen: the rippling effect works, but the image in the background on each screen turns into a miniature of both screens side by side, plus some artifacts... Anyway, I'm sure the Dev will offer us a solution very soon!

I've been editing and mixing for a local radio program for some years and, after trying everything I could find, simple or bloated, I've found that this program is the best for what I need. (By the way, my biggest error was paying for DSP-Quattro...).

Perfect! Simple and to the point. Since it stopped working, I've been trying, without success, to find anything as simple and informative as DEPOTset. Wish it was an application, although it can be converted to an app easily with Amnesty Singles. Moreover, for EU citizens having bought shares in US$, it can translate seamlessly the aggregates to euros according to the current exchange rate.

I bought v5.51 seven weeks ago and yesterday I downloaded v6.0. My serial # wasn't accepted and I was thinking of contacting the developer sbout it since I could NOT see any reference at MacUpdate nor at the Dev's site about having to pay more to use v6.0. Now that I know, I'm out. As others have said, it's not the amount per se: it's the policy, st**id!

Long live BetterTouchTool and/or MagicPrefs!
