Using a simple trash procedure moves moves Xcode files to old developer, and creates a new developer file.
I do not think this process d creates any problems
The program is an essential computer secretary for proofreading. It works well, and catches mistakes, stopping me from submitting papers with careless errors.
I was using "Speed Download" to download my update tonight and the download stopped with the following message:

Apple Xcode
I wasted several hours attempting to install the update. There is no online support I could find. Frustrating and the process is very unApple like.
I did solve the process, the solution is to:
- move all the files of Xcode to trash
- trash it (weird)
- restart the App Store
- Download Xcode update.
Hope someone at Apple responds to this complaint.

I called technical service and learned the solution is to trash the application and then install. A strange process.
