Mac Malware Remover

"You can't open the application Mac Malware Remover because it is not supported on this type of Mac."

My system meets all the stated requirements. Looks like the developer forgot to mention something important.

As I wrote, the developer forgot to mention something important, like 64 bit only. BTW, the developer asked me to report here that the app is not a scam. I don't know about the app, but some of the reviews here are from obvious sock puppets. MU should be investigating and removing them.

Pickpocket Safari Extension

For those who don't know, "Pocket" is the new name for for the very useful app "Read It Later."

Read Later
Fyreflye commented on 06 Mar 2012
If you've already installed ReadNow and want to update to ReadLater you need to follow the MU link to the App Store and click the "Update" link in the top bar. This will then move all apps bought from the Store needing updates to a separate section where you can click an update button and have the app updated. Be sure the app is closed before you try this. BTW, as of this post the updater will *not* change the name of the app itself from ReadNow to ReadLater. Only the version number and labels in the prefs and pull down menus will change.

Camino

Thanks again to Uncle Asad and the dedicated Camino developer team. I keep trying to use those "advanced" browsers like Firefox, Chrome and Safari; but I keep coming back again and again to Camino as my default browser. It's fast, light, simple and beautiful.

Reports of Camino's death have been highly exaggerated. Congratulations and thanks to Camino's dedicated development team.

Apple Mac OS X
Fyreflye had trouble on 15 Jun 2010
Lots of crashes after installing this using System Preferences Update. Most are attributable to the FlashPlayer plug in. And I couldn't open the Extensions section of Safari Preferences without causing a crash. I've removed the FlashPlayer plug in, which seems to have stopped the crashing, but most sites keep telling me they need it. Many reports went to Apple; let's hope they're on the ball.

Thanks for your valuable input. I did have the latest 10.1 installed before the crash, but removing it, installing another one, and restarting seems to have fixed my problem.

1Password
fyreflye had trouble on 24 Aug 2009
1Password claims my long time in use password for itself is incorrect and is rejecting any upgrade or substitution of the new version for the old. Why is that?
