being a Mac user since 1993 and currently looking after 9 intel Mac's and my experience with Lion is as follows:
It works reasonably well for hobby user who maybe sync there iPhone do a bit of web browsing and email and only have a dozen of programs installed and open at a time, for example my media center, or my wife's Mini makes very little trouble (though even that freezes occasionally and needs to be force restarted).
However for Power user (Quad Intel 32 MB Ram, latest and biggest iMac 16GB ram etc) is is very, very buggy, slow and in my eyes the worst OS apple released in a long time.
The spinning beach ball show up far to often and for far to long, machines in- explicitly restart itself, windows in the background are un-responsive until you actually click on the window bar.
An yes I have apple support for all machines and used it extensively and there are also no known conflicting software I use.
I switched several machines back to SL
and they run smooth without any of the issues Lion has.
Unfortunately can not recommend the software anymore, I used to really like it before they made the drastic usability changes and decided not not offer any support anymore.
feature wise it's ok but often not very user friendly or logical but it's crashing far to often and all support options are not available anymore.
you have my email address from the 20+ crash reports I submitted, if you where interested in helping you would provide a means for paying customers to contact you and get support. shame on you as a company.
syncing with several computers never worked for me reliably sometimes it does sometimes it does not. It clearly connects but then tells me could not complete sync.
Only deleting and re-adding device will fix it until the next sync when I have the same problem again.
great software but would like to see which formats would generate what file size. for me it's all hit and miss so a estimated file size preview would be awesome
Version 2 does not work for me on same domain and server where version one works without a problem. Developer blames it on server even though form loom 1 works without problem on same domain and any other PHP apps work flawlessly on the server
developer can not be bothered to look in to it or fix his script and rather refunds :-(
great software but unfortunately does not work under Snow Leopard. I downgraded from lion as it is too sluggish but unfortunately the software won't work any more.
quite some problems after updating my Quad G5. System is much slower and unresponsive, Linotype Font Explorer crashes the system, right after update Entourage 2008 tells me my my data base is corrupted
[Version 10.5.2]
