I really appreciate the creativity of this software. I doubt that it is genuinely useful for most, but thank you for sharing it with us, and thank you for being willing to experiment!
Truecrypt through and including 7.0 does not support Snow Leopard in 64-bit mode. This is in part because it relies on MacFuse, which is not 64-bit. This is documented here:
Also, while it touts whole-system encryption in the announcement here ("allows the encryption of the entire boot volume"), this is not supported for Mac, as documented here:
Thanks for your comment, SHMK. FUNDimension isn't necessarily for organizations just starting out, although many of my customer are startups. Organizations raising less than $40-50,000 a year probably will use something less expensive. There are plenty of products out their to meet their needs.
But for organizations that can spend money for software, FUNDimensions provides them a powerful and effective advantage in raising more money- recouping many times their software investment, both through better fundraising practices, and through reduced staffing requirements.
I have a long list of satisfied customers, a majority of whom moved to FUNDimensions after using something less expensive, because they saw that FUNDimensions served their needs in a superior and valuable way. Our web site has a list of our customers.
Before anyone here writes off this product because of the price tag, check out competing products, many of which sell at several multiples or more of FUNDimensions' price. And, have a look at the feature list, the work that goes into a quality database product, the tens of thousands of dollars I've personally invested in it over the years, and the responsibility I bear to my customers for their success, their training, and their support these last 16 years. I think you'll see it is really a tremendous bargain for many- not all- organizations. Good software on this scale costs money.

It does offer very strong encryption for a USB key, though.
