I installed MacOs 9.1n no problem, then had to re-install 9.04. I could not use my Epson Stylus Pro 5000 via postcript or else, or make a pdf because of this conflict in between Suitcase 9 and the OS. Extensis suggests to go to the control panel Suitcase 9 MenuFonts, add a space after the tilda (~) so that it loads before ATM. I don't have the material time to re-install Mac OS 9.1 at the moment, but eventually I will on my 8500 with its upgraded G3 processor which I overclock at 490 Mhz. I cannot do without printing proofs and pdfs to my clients, but I will, for I noticed it was faster than 9.04, had new features like acceleration for older Macs, and will be I think an improvement in stability. One other problem I noticed, TechTool Pro 3 and 3.02 cannot not read the system file and fly over it. Really annoying but TechTool Pro will hopefully have a remedy. All the values I put in the underneath box can just be hopeful, from the glance I experienced, with the problems mentioned eventually solved. One can as well mention the unhelpfulness of Apple, when you have to pay to report bugs, and do not receive proper feed back.
