My dream has come true. I always wanted to make my own iPhone/iPad app, but never had the courage to dive into objective C.
I've been working for a month now on my first app (quite a big one, so will be while until completely done) but I'm blown away about the simplicity of the framework. A good selection of native elements is there to do most of the hard work, anything else you can do in HTML/javascript -- something I'm much more familiar with.
Plus the developer is probably the nicest and most responsive developer I've ever come accross, so if you're stuck don't worry. Neither the support forum nor the developer will leave you hanging.
Also, I had a small feature request -- and that was implimented within a week of posting it! What more do you want?
Lastly, there's a really useful companion book out by Kristofer Layon which is incredibly helpful to get you started and to take you though all the (tedious litte) steps involved in setting up your developer account, generating certificates etc. to test your app on an actual device, to ultimately distribute it on the app store and to market it.
