Bu yeah, I'm not a graphics developer. Would be a good explanation why the same game runs so much slower on the same hardware on the Mac than on Windows (we did quite a bit of testing and this is typically the case, with both Windows and OS X using OpenGL drivers).
Indeed, it would make more sense for Invidia to provide Apple with the drivers, but maybe Apple changes them somehow to fit their proprietary platform. So maybe the better question is not who *makes* the drivers, but rather who *breaks* them? Dunno.. :-)
