After an awful version 3.0 which was unable to simply do what the version 2.0 did, this new release is just a lie.
What they say on their online store :
"New! Extract clips from any DVD-Video and create your own clip compilation DVD"
"Create your own Director's Cut custom compilation-choose the individual DVD movies, audio and languages you want"
"Easily back up the entire disc with all movies, menus, audio and extras"
And so on...
The only thing they do "forget" to tell you is that you still cannot use those so-called "features" on your commercial DVDs (which are almost all copy-protected by now). Eventually, PopCorn results in a sleek interface you can do nothing of.
Oops, I was about to forget : if you're a PopCorn 3 user, you'll have to pay 30 $ for the upgrade. One more way for Roxio to tell they don't care about their prior customers either.
