I download this torrent client and gave it a test spin. I will admit it has a nice GUI but none of my trackers allowed its use there which defeats any point to using it. The 10 minutes of use on one public tracker before the nagging started and the 100k cap was enforced along with the other restriction only left me with a bad impression.
Judging from the years of complaints about rude and obnoxious behaviour and the lack of support from this developer it has taken its toll and David Watanabe seems to be getting very desperate for attention and new revenue.
David Watanabe may appears to have turned over a new leaf in a futile attempt to save his failing software line but the damage has been done. It's time to say goodnight Irene.
I cannot comment on the long term stability of xtorrent because it was far too crippled to be of any use after 10 minutes. The only enjoyment I received from xtorrent was putting in my trash can.
I'm giving Folx a test run which offers a slick torrent client and a download manager all in one for less money. I may even consider buying a Folx Pro license but the unrestricted free version is quite good without the torrent search feature the Pro license offers.
I agree whole heartedly with both reviewers below SHOTGUNWEDDINGS and MACTECHEAD. Stellar wipe is easy to use and quite friendly unlike the 2 trolls that can't read TOD WICKS and THUS.SPAKE.Z It is too bad MacUpdate doesn't have a mandatory IQ and reading comprehension test to avoid trolls and stupid comments.
The only feature I was interested in HDCleanUp was the HFS compression option.
But it doesn't work!!!!
HDCleanUp goes through the motion of compressing something, moving the old copy to the trash and reports the savings. Drag the same file again onto HDCleanUp and it repeats everything again. But it never compressed anything either attempt.
If I compress the file with Terminal and then try to use HDCleanUp to compress it again it finally reports it cannot compress because it already is and there would be no savings.
Thanks for the great tool and I hope you can fix this annoying problem.

And the demo is useless too. The screen saver is not 10.6 compatible and will not even open saying so.

Better
More stable
What more could anyone want.
Plug-ins. OMG they are finally coming to Safari. I can't wait.
It is also very nice to see the return of the progress bar in the URL box.
Thanks for listening Apple and putting it back.

Adobe Flash Player
Each time I had to un-install Flash 10.1.## and install the older 10.0 stable release.
I am downloading 10.1.53.60 but I doubt it will be any better.

There are no known viruses for the Mac OS X either. A few old trojans but not one single virus for Mac OS X.
Who even uses the overpriced $500 Communigate email server when there are free email services across the globe that offer better service for free?
