As per the readme, I'd recommend first running sysctl -a and checking the values therein before installing. For example, on my MacBook running Tiger, the net.inet.tcp.sendspace and net.inet.tcp.recvspace items were already set well above 65536, but on my Tiger-equipped B&W G3 I use as a server, those same items were set below that. In the speed tests I ran before and after installation on the G3, I noted a gain in bandwidth of a few hunderd kbps.
