My fans started to get noisy as hell, just a few months after replacing them for that same reason.

I uninstalled Fan Control and not my MBP is silent again. Looks like they'd rather run at 2000 rpm than 3000rpm...

Synk Pro

I have been using Synk Pro for a few days to setup a folder on "previous versions" for active files I have on my desktop and dropbox folders. So far it works remarkably well and fast in the background. The interface is nice to work with and I very much like the archive file format that gives me full access even without a copy of Synk.

So far so good, if this continues I will be sending the $60 to the author. Thanks !

So I did purchase it and am very happy with it. The interface is very carefully crafted, the program feels very well written and runs very fast.

I maintain a copy and archive of my dropbox and desktop with all "active" documents, gives me peace of mind.

Also the email support is very responsive and knowledgeable.

Highly recommended if you need this type of app !

Good stuff, simple, works well.

Couple of suggestions : add a "quit" option, talk to "spaces" and look at memory leak.

2 suggestions :

- Fixing the rare spaces glitch would be nice

- I understand hiding the menu bar is dangerous, how about changing its color to the same color as the background color ? To black ?

Great app. I got it in order to hide my desktop when teaching with a projector. Now i find myself using it much of the time, I find it makes the UI more relaxing.
