This is my first review, and I was testing this software long enough to give it all stars available.
I am totally new to Mac universe (call me a switcher if you want, and I proudly will say "Yes, thankfully, and I'll never look back").
Well, being totally a newbie, and with my bad Win-habits, I was looking for a helper, a kind of advisor to keep me from turning my lovely MacBook into a useless "youKnowWhat" junkyard.
And this was the only software I didn't need to learn prior to start clearing caches, cookies, solving permissions issues and so on. It never let me wondering what am I doing, or what can I do. It takes care of my "stupidity" without getting in my way.

I honestly compared this to Onyx, and while I can't say nothing against that good software, I'm not so familiar with it. It just felt more like "connaisseurs-oriented", so I'm happy with Cocktail so far, and think I won't need anything else.

In short: a solid, perfectly crafted, stable, reliable and easy to use
optimization software, also recommended for beginners-switchers and Mac long-time Users alike :)

P.S: (off topic) I want to thank you all MacUpdate people and users, because I was always reading your reviews before purchasing anything, and so far so good! P.S.2: Please excuse my strange English.
