However, this link appears to download Build 071128, from Nov. 2007. What I downloaded does not appear to differ in any way from the version I already had. Even a direct download from the website gives me what appears to be an old version. Am I missing something?
Yet another in a slew of apps that won't allow a demo. For $2 more, you can get this:
http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/16710/xgestures
From everything I can see, it's a lot more full-featured. It has a proven developer. It works in SL. (And if it has problems in Lion, I'll bet my paycheck he gets it fixed promptly.)
Oh, and you can take it for a spin if you want to try before you buy. Jeez, what a sensible policy that is.
Like so many new apps, no demo. So, I went to the developer site, figuring I'd at least find audio samples. But no. I get a nearly blank page with nothing but the following:

Then there's a blank text box for me to write additional comments (I think).
And for this I should pay $2.99, sight unseen? Really?
Last I checked, this still did not have the ability to assign a hot key to its windowshading feature. That's the only thing I want. Is this feature there yet? Thanks.
I would truly like to try this program, but I refuse to pay money to be a beta tester. I see nothing on their site about a money-back guarantee. This whole App Store stuff has led to a slew of apps being released that require you to "buy or not buy." Why can we no longer test something before purchase? I'm not trying to knock this developer. But I have to wonder if sales hurt because at least some of us would like to take a program out for a spin before making a final decision.
Have we seen the end of demos? I'm not blaming this app; all of the App Store items seem to be "buy or nothing." And whereas many might offer you your money back, the hassles of that are not worth it to me.

It's not as full-featured as Unsanity, and it's pricier, but it works. And it's not dependent on Rosetta.
