By far one of the best available personal finance programs for the Mac, and I've tried them all. Easy to use, updated regularly, and development responds promptly to email. While other similar packages focus exclusively on appearance, Money balances functionality with aesthetics to create a pleasing package sure to please the user.
Wallet 3 is a huge improvement over version 2. The interface is very refined, the program is easy to use and stability is great. The developer was quick to respond when emailed. I'm very happy I purchased this program.
Although I have a Mac at home, I use my office PC on the road. Since mini$ is written in Java, it should follow the "write once, run anywhere" philosophy of Java. Yet if I extract the contents of the mini$ zip file and attempt to run the minimoney_eng.jar file, I receive a message indicating that "mini$ encountered a fatal error and must close". This happens immediately after I specify a path to the mini$ data file and click OK. I'm running JRE 1.0.6_16.
Is it possible to run mini$ under another platform's JVM? Is the source available such that I can try and compile it myself?
