Scrutiny
"Two tools from the same developer were next to come across my desktop. Integrity is a basic link checker, while Scrutiny adds sitemap, SEO, and HTML validation features. As I began reviewing link checkers, certain features became important to me; both of these applications allow the user to set per-site delays to the scanner, so as not to overload the server, and have the ability to pause a scan and optionally scan for missing images.
"However...Scrutiny has some odd user interface issues that make me uncomfortable using it. Also, [it suffers] from a bug that makes the scanner treat URLs with 'www.' in them as a different site than those without the subdomain. The developer has indicated that this will be fixed in a later version.
"...my faves are ______ and Scrutiny. Scrutiny, as noted above, isn't a polished app. And there are features found in other apps I'd like it to have, like robots.txt exclusion and full resource checking. However, the price is more appealing than ______'s.

I consider an bug to be serious if it affects my use of an application; however, here are some bugs that cause crashes:
- Cover Flow crashes, every time. (1)
- Copy Public URL crashes, every time. (2)
Bugs that require I change how I use Interarchy:
- Double-clicking a folder attempts to download the folder, instead of opening it. (1)
- File/folder creation occurs in unexpected directories. (4)
- Copying a file by dragging from the window to a background tab copies the file to the wrong directory. (4)
- Right-clicking on a selection of multiple files/folders deselects all but one. (4)
- Cannot rename in place in column view.
Bugs or behaviors that slow down my use of Interarchy:
- Duplicating a file leaves the original selected, rather than the copy. (3)
- Using HITextField for the address control causes text to shift when moused into.
- Renaming a file selects the whole name, including the extension. (3)
- Double-clicking a file to rename doesn't do an appropriate word-select. (3)
- Quick Look (and preview) doesn't work on remote servers. (1)
- In column view, selecting a directory followed by "Select All" results in all items in that directory's column to be selected. This is different than the Finder's behavior, where all items *in* the selected directory would become selected. (3)
Bugs that otherwise affect my use of Interarchy:
- Save/Save As don't do what (this) user expects.
- Preferences for selecting columns to view is missing. (1)
- State not saved periodically.
(1) Although Matthew's first comment was "I don't comment on future releases," he did indicate that these would be fixed in the next release.
(2) This has been fixed, probably by a reinstall of the operating system.
(3) It's particularly frustrating to me that Matthew insists that these behaviors reflect the Finder's behavior, when that is clearly not the case.
(4) Also different than the Finder, although Matthew hasn't commented.
I sent Matthew a screencast (at his request) to demonstrate the issues marked above by (3); however, he has not responded to me in nearly a month -- even when I sent two additional messages.
Playing the Devil's advocate, I understand some of the delay is due to the Mac App Store. Matthew, after hearing in November (?) about the MAS, chose to delay the release of any update so that it could be released simultaneously in the MAS and on his website. The MAS approval process has increased that delay. Very frustrating for him, I'm sure.
But (and switching back to the other side), it's even more frustrating for his customers who have paid for a working product -- or, at least, a certain level of usability -- and have not been communicated with.
I stand by my earlier review. There are too many bugs for me to recommend anyone buy this product, even at the tempting price of $20 (see my comments elsewhere on the price).

Haven't seen hide nor hair of Scheduled Bookmarks Although the feature is mentioned in the release notes for 10.0.2, it isn't in Help. (BTW, would like to see someone do a screencast of the differences between Auto Uploads, Droplets, Mirrors, and Net Disks -- they seem, from the docs, to all be very similar, so it's difficult to get a sense of when I should use one over another.)
I've looked at several other clients (most notably Transmit, although not YummyFTP), but none seem to come close to meeting my needs. Then again, maybe I just need to adapt to their way of doing things. Transmit has one annoying behavior, in that it won't even look (I asked Panic) for existing Keychain items the first time you load a site. And it has some frustrating behaviors when dealing with split windows.
On a brighter note, I found a feature in Interarchy that I wasn't aware of: copy and paste of files and folders is supported! Select Edit > Copy in one listing, then Paste to another listing -- be it on the same server, another server, or a desktop listing -- and Interarchy will create a new item in the second location. Successive pastes work, too.

- I10 doesn't use the saved preference for the Transfer Mode. If the "Transfer files" preference is changed, the option is saved to ~/Library/Preferences/com.nolobe.interarchy.plist, but I10 doesn't use that value on its next launch.
-It's incredibly difficult to edit a bookmark in the Bookmarks Bar.
- Items under Places in the sidebar do not correctly highlight
- It's not possible to remove items added to Places
- When listing a Finder directory, double-clicking on a file results in a Bad URL error
- When listing a Finder directory, File > Edit, cmd-J and right-click-Edit do nothing
- When working with a listing of a Finder directory, deleting and creating files and folders does not update the view (column view); created items do not appear and deleted items are not removed until the view is refreshed in some manner. Same with renaming
- When listing a Finder directory, duplicating an item results in a Bad URL error

I've reported two additional bugs to Nolobe, one involving a UI glitch when changing the "Download files to" setting and another that causes I10 to create multiple copies of a file when that file is in a directory, the directory is dragged to another server, and the listing on the source server has that directory's disclosure triangle opened. (Confusing, I know.)

Interarchy

Version 10 was released months after it was promised, without (as far as I -- a long-time Interarchy user -- can tell) testing by anyone other than the developer. It was immediately found to be chock full of bugs and, although two updates quickly followed, most of those bugs exist at this time. It has been months since the last update and no timeframe has been issued for the next one.
Bugs include: crashes related to Cover Flow; crashes related to public URL copying; missing preferences for displaying columns; failure to list directories in list view and in certain instances in column view; Quick Look doesn't work for remote files; state (windows, tabs, history, etc.) not saved periodically; right-clicking on a selection of multiple files/folders deselects all but one; new file/folder creation occurs in unexpected directories -- I'd list more, but these are all that I can remember off the top of my head. The developer has closed the Google Group and the Tender support forums, where these and more of the bugs I'd experienced were reported, so the complete list of reported bugs is unavailable.
My recommendation is to steer clear of this app until .1 or even a .5 release.
