Downloaded the demo.
So far it works fine, I really like the organized and stored shots in the browser without fiddling, renaming and organizing on your desktop all the time.
But I miss some feature that I found to be very useful in e. g. SnapNDrag. The option to make either full screen shots or window shots.
Think I will purchase it then...
Otherwise good work.
Checked update via Microsoft AutoUpdate. The new version was found, downloaded and the software compatibility was confirmed. The usual install procedure went through and everything was fine until the final step. After unpacking and writing the data an error-message appeared, telling me that there was some problem and I have to contact the software retailer...
Good old Microsoft... Almost forgot how it feels ;-/
MS Office 12.2.4 on iMac 27" 2,8 Ghz, Core i7, 8GB Ram, 10.6.4
Stellarium 0.10.4 on MacBook Pro1,2 2,16 Intel Core duo 2GB Ram, 10.6.2
Wow, I am impressed and that does not come easy!
Starts quickly, all functions work swiftly and without "hesitation", very nice animation, especially the planet magnification and animated orbits. Like to hunt for the "cruising satellites" with my binoculars. Very very fast as far as I can tell... I love the menu look :-) Huge language support, many interesting and useful preferences. Although I couldn't get the compass bearing plug-in to work, not sure if it´s me ;-)
For my needs as a non professional sky-observer in Northern Norway a great application. Can´t believe it´s free... Does really meet the famous "Mac spirit".
I might miss one additional useful function: Northern Lights indicator plug-in!?
Big thanks to the people behind the project! Definitely 5 stars!
I purchased it recently and was quickly handling web-page design like a pro. Tight link-up to their support crew. Flawless installation on my MacBook Pro 17" 2.16 Ghz, 2 GB Ram, OS 10.5.6, swift and smooth! All the automatic features in publishing, MobileMe etc. worked as they were supposed to. A very easy to use tool, perfect for newbies, but offers also something to advanced users. But then I discovered that I didn't really need it anyway due to some particular feature I wasn't considering. Unfortunately I did not make use of the demo version. But without any problem the friendly and accommodating crew revoked the transaction and immediately send the money back. Great! Thanks a lot!
I managed to download the software:
No mobile phone symbols were shown in the list afterwards, only usual symbols, had to go manually through all contacts. Found out that multiple mobile numbers were ignored, got "lost" :-(. And worse: it does not accept the iSync preferences concerning iCal, I can not select/deselect certain calendars. Now my phone is filled with thousands of entries with name-days, tidal times and other stuff I usually only show/activate on demand. Find out more annoyances almost every day. Hope the fix it soon! :-(
Tried to use it on my MacbookPro 17" (latest SW), but after installation the window, which is supposed to show my camera (latest SW) with it´s specs, is not appearing. It is only visible when the camera is NOT connected to the computer. I can release the shutter function, but that´s all, rest of the menu is not accessible. The whole application gives very much the impression of a Windows related mutation, not Mac typical plug and play. Did the install routine twice with reboot, same result. Camera is found immediately with iPhoto when switched on... :-(
