At first I was deeply upset as this looked cool, but wasn't as easy to use as AcidSearch. It wasn't returning as many hits, either. AND, worst of all, without telling you, they switch your default search engine from Google to Yahoo. Some of you may prefer Yahoo, but what upset me was that they make the switch without telling you...it's like asking for Pepsi and getting Coke.
Further, there's no documentation and as far as I could tell, no way to remove this. They don't even let you know where this plug-in's files are saved.
I finally discovered that if you go to Safari's preferences and use the pale arrows at the top of the preferences window, you can find the Inquisitor preference pane where you can make changes that make this a great plug in. It still needs documentation in a "read me" file. I couldn't even find this information on their web site.
5 stars for what the product does and how it works
0 stars for switching default search engines without telling you of this change.
0 stars for a total lack of documentation
0 stars for not having a de-install feature (at least, not one that I could find)
When you get ready to install, the developer notes read, "Finally your correspondents in iChat must have the pack installed in order to see the smileys appear."
In other words, unless the people you're chatting with have this, they are useless.
