I too am experiencing the same problem mentioned on saving; however, to save the enlarged picture, I press command shift 4 as a work around. This piece of software is what I have been looking for. Kudos to the developer(s).

ContactSheetMaker

This is a great application. Kudos to the developer. In the next update, it would be nice if all contact sheets would be numbered and saved automatically once the file format has been selected instead of doing it manually. This application helps me with my family albums.

Audacity

DiskRod reviewed on 20 May 2006
Great piece of software! Works with Mac-Intel as well but requires tweaking. Here's how it's done. Audacity does work with a Mac-Intel but it requires another freeware program called LineIn 2.0.2. Connect your headphone microphone headset on your Mac-Intel. Install LineIn and open it. Select Built-in Audio: Line In on the first button. On the second button, select Built-in Audio Line Out. Press the PASS THRU button 3 times. Assuming your have already installed Audacity, open Audacity 1.3b. On the first attempt, expect Audacity to crash and not respond. Force Quit Audacity. Open Audacity again. Begin using Audacity. If it crashes again, close all applications and repeat the process. If it doesn't work, play with the options of LineIn. This program saved my presentation. Note: Make sure your headphone set wires are correctly plugged in.
