I used the trial version initially and found it really useful. The sync to iPhone feature was one that drew me to the app in the first place. The trial expired and I finally decided to purchase it. The new version (4) is in many ways a step backwards, however:
The interface is nicely laid out but the inability to multi-select or select all recipes for moving or deleting is a glaring error. This would not be so bad if there were keyboard shortcuts to delete the unwanted recipes, but having to click to select each one then click the minus button at the bottom is time-consuming and repetitive; my wrist was aching after deleting only a small selection!
The program also threw up 'Multiple validation errors' which caused all the changes I had made to be lost as it was unable to save them. I have no desire to want to go through the process again!
I hope they fix these terrible UI holes soon, as they ruin an otherwise excellent recipe management application.
